Lake Pleasant Regional Park

Day 44, 45, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7-8, Lake Pleasant Regional Park, Phoenix, Arizona

We arrived in Lake Pleasant in time to take Sarah down to the water for a little stick play.  Wednesday we went kayaking up Lake Pleasant, with calm waters and sunshine.  Not very many people on this lake on a weekday in March!  We know not to come here in weekends!

High water at the upper end of the lake

We saw and heard wild burros several times.

Wonder if this vulture is looking for exhausted kayakers?

Green water up an inlet.  You can see the tilted strata in the rocks.
