April 8 Wild Horse Casino parking
lot Pendleton, OR
We drove to Weiser and visited
with friends from Camas, Jim Bob and Sue Metzger. They have moved from Camas to this beautiful
place on the Snake River, as Jim Bob is the airport manager. We found out about the Weiser rail trail, at
88 miles the longest rail trail in Idaho.
Definitely a place to come back to!
After our visit we continued
west, making it to the very popular parking lot (free for RV’s) at the Wild
Horse Casino. There we had the buffet
dinner and each donated $20 to the casino, making this one of our more
expensive campsites!
